Goodbye, Chickenpox. Could Lynch Syndrome (or other GI) Cancers Be Next?

Before 1995, chickenpox was just something almost every kid went through. Then a vaccine changed that; cases dropped by nearly 97%.
In a recent piece on LinkedIn, I explore whether a similar shift toward vaccines could be on the horizon for treating and preventing GI cancers. For example, Lynch syndrome, an inherited condition that raises the risk of colorectal and other GI cancers, has several clinical trials underway—including a new multi-year effort in the UK.
It's an exciting and hopeful day for cancer vaccine research.
